Friendly staff and clean facilities make a pleasant stay.

Unfortunately, the shower pressure was disappointingly weak. our room lacked cups and teaspoons which were necessary for the tea and coffee facilities. Lastly, we did notice one room was much better than another, creating an imbalance in our group experience.

The food served is impressive, particularly the daily specials on non-Mondays and Tuesdays. it’s clear there’s an emphasis on quality. Comfortable and reasonably priced rooms make it practical for short stays.

The Standard Double Room really needs some attention—thin mattress, worn pillows, and significant signs of wear like peeling wallpaper. The sink awkwardly positioned in the bedroom and lack of bedside lamps turned what should be a relaxing space into a bit of a chore, especially when using torches from our phones just to read.

Chur, the staff were heaps friendly! Had the best Sunday dinner, but the room could use a bedside lamp—reading was a mission without one!

Family with children will love it

The location is perfect, we didn't need to get in the car until it was time to leave. The staff were so friendly, it felt like family, which made the trip special.

Great food and welcoming atmosphere

I had a wonderful stay with a group of friends in a Standard Twin Room. The food was a highlight, especially the large portions—can't recommend the Sunday dinner enough! The staff were incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I did notice the rooms could use some updates, but the experience overall was fantastic, and I look forward to returning.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and close to various shops. The meals are delightful and reasonably priced, creating a relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day out.

This was just a fitting option for a hurried visit in Ayr with excellent value for money. Had a great meal in the bar at a reasonable price. Don’t forget to check the milk before using it for your tea or coffee.

The location is superb, making it easy to explore the beach and town centre. The staff were exceptional, providing friendly and helpful service throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and warm, allowing for restful sleep even when I indulged in late mornings. Other guests praised the food, particularly the substantial portions, which I absolutely agree with.

The rooms need some upgrades, particularly with amenities such as bedside lamps, which would enhance the overall comfort.
